  • Claims Procedure

    1. Upon the occurrence of any incidence that may give rise to a claim, we should be notified immediately or not later than 30days.
    2. Once we receive your notification we shall provide you with the list of all necessary substantiating documents which will be used to process the claim
    3. As soon as all the substantiating documents are received, we will follow up closely with the insurance companies to ensure that adjustment/inspection is carried out within 24 hours.
    4. Once inspection/adjustment is carried out by the underwriter, we will ensure that settlement offer and discharge voucher is sent to you within 72 hours.
    5. We will follow up with you to give us instruction to sign the discharge voucher on your behalf to enable the underwriter process settlement cheque
    6. Once we receive your instruction to sign the DV, we will ensure that the settlement cheque is issued by an underwriter within 72 hours.
    7. The settlement cheque will be sent immediately upon receipt from the insurance company.

Esther Akinyemi

Assistant Manager, Client Services

Esther Akinyemi is an Education Graduate from the University of Lagos and a student member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. She began her career in the insurance industry with Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited.

At Risk Analyst Insurance Broker Ltd, Esther Akinyemi works in the Underwriting and Claims Management Department. She coordinates all the activities of Underwriting and claims of the company which relates to her team, handles the day-to-day management of clients’ accounts, surveys risk and risk management, and works on the training and development of new staff. She ensures that all her subordinates deliver on performance targets. She is also involved in the marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients.

She is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim, and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.

She has had the opportunity of attending various trainings which has broadened her knowledge in the insurance industry.

 

Mrs Hannah Oyebanjo, BSc, MBA

MD/CEO

Hannah is the Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Redwood consulting Limited. She is the immediate past Marketing Director of GlaxoSmithKline, a multinational Pharmaceutical and Health Care Company, She has had over two decade experience in brand management, sales and marketing communications; specifically Advertising and Public Relations. Her rare experience covers both the client and agency sides of the business at very senior management levels. She is a motivational speaker, an author, a columnist and serves as faculty to some management, marketing and business training institutes. Hannah is a practical leader who is committed to assisting younger managers in maximizing their potentials. She has had diverse local and foreign trainings to equip and help her build a well-rounded career. She is the founder of Predictable Future Foundation, a multi award winner at various levels spanning academics, business and social basis.

Chief (Mrs) Eniola Fadayomi (MON)

Director

With over 40 years of practice, Eniola Fadayomi is one of the Nigeria’s most well known Commercial Lawyers. She started her distinguished working career with Lagos State Ministry of Justice between 1972 and 1979. She was a member, Citizenship Committee and also the Executive secretary, Council on the Prerogative of Mercy. In 1980, she joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc as Legal Adviser. She was appointed Lagos state Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice in 1987 and served as member, Body of Benchers, Body for International co-operation in Criminal Prosecution and Enforcement, Council of Legal Education. 

She was a Senior Partner at the Nigeria’s oldest law firms of Messrs. Irving & Bonnar and Messrs. Bentley Edu & Co. between 1990 and 1998. She was also the Principal Partner of Eniola Fadayomi & Co. firm of Solicitors and Advocates between 1998 and 2002. Mrs. Fadayomi was the Senior Partner and Team Leader for the finalization of the US$785 Million OSO 11 (Condensate) Field Development Project owned by Mobil Producing Unlimited and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1992. The Project was partly financed by equity from the sponsors and debt capital from the World Bank, IFC, US Export/Import Bank, Japan Export/Import Bank and the European Investment Bank. 

Mrs. Fadayomi also led the Legal Team which advised and negotiated the project financing, documentation and designing of the investment vehicle of the OSO-NGL Project, a gas utilization project, which was sequel to the OSO-Field Development Project, originally estimated at US$810 million. Mrs. Eniola Fadayomi has vast experience in negotiation of both local and international commercial contracts and in advising foreign companies investing in Nigeria. She has appeared before numerous Courts in Nigeria. She was formerly, Chairman, Afribank Plc and Atlantic Hall Education Trust Council and Millennium Harvest Limited respectively. 

She is currently the President of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria. A widely acknowledged Transaction Lawyer, Eniola Fadayomi is a respected expert in Corporate and Commercial Law and Practice.

Adenle Emmanuel Olalekan

Account and Finance

Adenle Emmanuel Olalekan is an Accounting Graduate from Ekiti State University. He began his career in the insurance industry when he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd.

 He is presently in our underwriting and claims unit. He advises clients on the appropriate insurance policy to take care of their various risk exposures, negotiate appropriate premiums and appropriate risk coverage, preparing and maintaining documentation on all client portfolio and preparation of insurance reports on client’s portfolio.

 He is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.

Emmanuel is involved in the marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients.

Olayemi Obafuwa

Technical Officer, Uderwriting

Olayemi Obafuwa is a Mathematics Graduate from the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, before he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers, he worked with Obalufon Grammar School, Sepeteri, Oyo State during his service year.

He advises clients on the appropriate insurance policy to take care of their various risk exposures, negotiate appropriate premiums and appropriate risk coverage, prepare and maintain documentation on all client portfolios, and preparation of insurance reports on clients’ portfolios.

He is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.

 

Maureen Osaretin Ada-Leonard, BSC, ACIIN, MBA

AGM (Business Development & Client Services)

Maureen is a Graduate from University of Benin and has a Master of Business administration (MBA) from the same school. She became Chartered member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN). She has well over 18 year of corporate experience spanning through strategic planning, Customer services Marketing and Business Development.

Maureen has worked in different Marketing and Managerial Capacity in various financial institutions and specifically in the insurance Industry since April 1999. She has been involved in developing training schedule for corporate clients in sync with their corporate improvement and developmental plan.

She has experience in various aspect of insurance which include Customer service, Marketing and capacity development. Maureen who is an effective and erudite speaker has facilitated various training programs. She is presently involved in capacity development for women in business and career. Since she joined Risk Analyst Insurance Broker Limited in December 2017, Maureen has been very innovative in terms of Business Development and better ways of servicing clients.

Maureen oversees the client’s services operations of all the units which include both Underwriting and claims, Engineering, Special Risk, Life Insurance etc. She is directly involved in day to day relationship management the company’s major clients.

Maureen has attended several training, Programmes, Conferences and seminars on Insurance, marketing, Customer relationship management and capacity development.
