Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
One of Nigeria’s Leading Risk Underwriters, Mrs Funmi Babington-Ashaye, is the Managing Director/ CEO of Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited and 48th President of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). Babington-Ashaye, former Managing Director/ Chief Executive of Cornerstone Insurance Plc and NICON Insurance Plc, holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School and a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute both of Nigeria and United Kingdom.
Babington-Ashaye started her insurance career with Royal Exchange Assurance Plc and later joined Cornerstone Insurance Plc as a pioneer staff in 1991 as an underwriter in Accident dept. She has won various awards including JC’s Lepine Prize Award by Chartered Insurance Institute London in 1990. In the same year, she also emerges as the overall Best Female student in the professional Examination (CIIN). In 2007, she won WEAN (Women Entrepreneur Achievers award) in Non-Banking sector.
During her tenure in Cornerstone Insurance, she worked in various departments, underwriting, reinsurance, claims, information technology, and special risk, Oil and Gas, Aviation. She rose from level of a manager to Managing Director of the company spanning about 18years. She introduced several innovations among which is Saturday Insurance, the first in the Nigeria insurance industry and she grew the turnover of the company by 80 percent within one year and successfully recapitalised the company.
She is a seasoned underwriter with over 30 years cognate experience in the insurance industry.
She has attended many courses in Nigeria and Overseas and currently serves on the governing council of the chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. She was appointed interim Managing Director of NICON Insurance Plc by the Federal Government to assist them in running the company as a going concern pending the resolution of the impasse between the insurance industry and the regulator (NATIONAL INSURANCE COMMISSION) and the core investor.
Director
With over 40 years of practice, Eniola Fadayomi is one of the Nigeria’s most well known Commercial Lawyers. She started her distinguished working career with Lagos State Ministry of Justice between 1972 and 1979. She was a member, Citizenship Committee and also the Executive secretary, Council on the Prerogative of Mercy. In 1980, she joined First Bank of Nigeria Plc as Legal Adviser. She was appointed Lagos state Attorney General & Commissioner for Justice in 1987 and served as member, Body of Benchers, Body for International co-operation in Criminal Prosecution and Enforcement, Council of Legal Education.Â
She was a Senior Partner at the Nigeria’s oldest law firms of Messrs. Irving & Bonnar and Messrs. Bentley Edu & Co. between 1990 and 1998. She was also the Principal Partner of Eniola Fadayomi & Co. firm of Solicitors and Advocates between 1998 and 2002. Mrs. Fadayomi was the Senior Partner and Team Leader for the finalization of the US$785 Million OSO 11 (Condensate) Field Development Project owned by Mobil Producing Unlimited and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in 1992. The Project was partly financed by equity from the sponsors and debt capital from the World Bank, IFC, US Export/Import Bank, Japan Export/Import Bank and the European Investment Bank.Â
Mrs. Fadayomi also led the Legal Team which advised and negotiated the project financing, documentation and designing of the investment vehicle of the OSO-NGL Project, a gas utilization project, which was sequel to the OSO-Field Development Project, originally estimated at US$810 million. Mrs. Eniola Fadayomi has vast experience in negotiation of both local and international commercial contracts and in advising foreign companies investing in Nigeria. She has appeared before numerous Courts in Nigeria. She was formerly, Chairman, Afribank Plc and Atlantic Hall Education Trust Council and Millennium Harvest Limited respectively.Â
She is currently the President of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria. A widely acknowledged Transaction Lawyer, Eniola Fadayomi is a respected expert in Corporate and Commercial Law and Practice.
MD/CEO
Hannah is the Chairperson of the Advisory Board of Redwood consulting Limited. She is the immediate past Marketing Director of GlaxoSmithKline, a multinational Pharmaceutical and Health Care Company, She has had over two decade experience in brand management, sales and marketing communications; specifically Advertising and Public Relations. Her rare experience covers both the client and agency sides of the business at very senior management levels. She is a motivational speaker, an author, a columnist and serves as faculty to some management, marketing and business training institutes. Hannah is a practical leader who is committed to assisting younger managers in maximizing their potentials. She has had diverse local and foreign trainings to equip and help her build a well-rounded career. She is the founder of Predictable Future Foundation, a multi award winner at various levels spanning academics, business and social basis.
Director
Teniola Stuffman is the Business Development Director at VAS2Nets Technologies Limited. She has wide experience in Business Development with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining VAS2Nets, Teniola has worked with some leading media companies like Channels Television, TV Continental, Eko FM, Superscreen TV and Daar Communications Plc. Skilled in Product Development, Mobile Financial Solution, Management Account Management, Solution Selling and Strategic Planning.
She is an alumnus of Oxford University Fintech School, Anglia Ruskin University (Lord Ashcroft Business School), Telcoms Media Academy, Federal University of Technology, Akure and Adeola Odutola College, Ogun State.
A passionate driver of financial inclusion, mobile agriculture and maternal child health care, Teniola has worked with several stakeholders like GSMA and Mobile Economic Forum (MEF). She enjoys continuous learning and is currently taking a Masters program on Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Walden University.
Head Technical Operations
Sunday is an Insurance Graduate from University of Lagos and an Associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.Â
 Shortly after he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers, he came up with innovations which resulted in an even distribution of workload among various units of the company and more efficient/effective service delivery to our clients.
 Since he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers, he has worked both as Underwriting of Motor, General Accident, Engineering, Special Risk, Life Insurance etc. and Marketing staff. He is directly involved in day to day management of Energy, Oil and Gas and Aviation Insurance.
 Sunday has attended several training, Programmes, Conferences and seminars on Insurance Technical Operations, Marketing and Management.
 He is currently the Head of Technical Operations and oversees Training of new staff. He ensures that clients’ requests are immediately attended to by team members and that difficult claim issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
He is in charge of the placement of Aviation Insurance Risk and other Special Risks among with local underwriters and International Market.
Manager (Technical Clients Services)
Ebun Ilesanmi is a Bachelor of Science degree holder in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and a student member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. She began her career in the insurance industry interning at Union Gate Insurance Brokers in the year 2008 as a receptionist.
When she graduated from the University, she was employed by Nigerian Life and Provident Company as a marketer selling both life and non-life insurance policies for a year before joining Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd as an Insurance Officer.
 At Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers, Ebun presently works in the Underwriting and Claims Management Department. She coordinates and handles day-to-day management of clients’ accounts on her team, works rates and provides good quotation for client, surveys risk and risk management and works on training and development of new staff. She is also involved in marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients.
 She is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.
 She has had the opportunity of attending trainings in Claims Management, Aviation Insurance, Anti-Money Laundering and so many others, which has broadened her knowledge in the insurance industry.
Manager (Technical Clients Services)
Folashade Bello is an Insurance Graduate from University of Lagos and a student member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. She began her career in the insurance industry with Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd.
 At Risk Analyst Insurance Broker Ltd, Folashade Bello works in the Underwriting and Claims Management Department. She coordinates all the activities of Underwriting and claims of the company which relates to her team, handles day-to-day management of clients’ accounts, surveys risk and risk management, works on the training and development of new staff. She ensures that all her subordinates deliver on performance targets. She is also involved in marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients and represents the company in meeting stakeholders.
 She is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.
 She has had the opportunity of attending various trainings which has broadened her knowledge in the insurance industry.
Technical Officer (Underwriting And Claims)
Oluwaseun Adesoye is an Insurance Graduate from University of Lagos; before he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers, he worked with Managed Healthcare Services Ltd as a client service provider where he handled client’s health insurance portfolio. He is also a student member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria.
He is presently in our underwriting and claims unit. He advises clients on the appropriate insurance policy to take care of their various risk exposures, negotiate appropriate premiums and appropriate risk coverage, preparing and maintaining documentation on all client portfolio and preparation of insurance reports on client’s portfolio.
He is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.
Oluwaseun is involved in the marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients. He has attended various trainings/workshops and also participated in the 2016 Insurance Industry Consultative Council Conference.
Technical Officer (Underwriting And Claims)
Adesina Oluwadamilola is an Insurance Graduate from Redeemer University and is a student member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. She started her career at Royal Exchange Prudential Life Insurance Plc as a Risk Advisor whose responsibilities were sales of Life Insurance products and ensuring the client are fully detailed on the life products they buy.
 Oluwadamilola joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Limited as an Insurance Officer, she is presently in the underwriting and claims unit where she provides good rates and quotes for clients, survey risks and underwriting of all classes of insurance. She gives advice to clients on the insurance policy they can take up that suits their risk exposures; negotiate the best rates with coverages which is suitable for them.
 She is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.
 Oluwadamilola is involved in the marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients and has attended various trainings which have helped hone her skills in insurance.
Account and Finance
Adenle Emmanuel Olalekan is an Accounting Graduate from Ekiti State University. He began his career in the insurance industry when he joined Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd.
 He is presently in our underwriting and claims unit. He advises clients on the appropriate insurance policy to take care of their various risk exposures, negotiate appropriate premiums and appropriate risk coverage, preparing and maintaining documentation on all client portfolio and preparation of insurance reports on client’s portfolio.
 He is also in charge of claims management on behalf of clients; providing advice on making a claim and the processes involved, collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim, handling any complaints associated with a claim and ensuring fair settlement of a valid claim within the shortest time possible.
Emmanuel is involved in the marketing of insurance products to both new and existing clients.
General Manager – Operations
Mrs. Bose Odueke graduated from Lagos State of Polytechnic with a Higher National Diploma in Insurance in 1986. After graduation, Bose has worked companies such as NEM Insurance Company, the Continental Merchant Bank in Nigeria and the Commercial Union.
She has held several positions in the past three decades as an executive director, branch manager, financial planner and accountant within various sectors of the financial services industry. She also served as a recruitment and business development manager and independent consultant.
Today, Bose is a General Manager at Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd. She is responsible for Developing and implementing strategic plans that meet business goals and objectives created in partnership with the Board of Directors. Bose also ensures commitment to and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations across the organization.
AGM (Business Development & Client Services)
Maureen is a Graduate from University of Benin and has a Master of Business administration (MBA) from the same school. She became Chartered member of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (ACIIN). She has well over 18 year of corporate experience spanning through strategic planning, Customer services Marketing and Business Development.
Maureen has worked in different Marketing and Managerial Capacity in various financial institutions and specifically in the insurance Industry since April 1999. She has been involved in developing training schedule for corporate clients in sync with their corporate improvement and developmental plan.
She has experience in various aspect of insurance which include Customer service, Marketing and capacity development. Maureen who is an effective and erudite speaker has facilitated various training programs. She is presently involved in capacity development for women in business and career. Since she joined Risk Analyst Insurance Broker Limited in December 2017, Maureen has been very innovative in terms of Business Development and better ways of servicing clients.
Maureen oversees the client’s services operations of all the units which include both Underwriting and claims, Engineering, Special Risk, Life Insurance etc. She is directly involved in day to day relationship management the company’s major clients.
Maureen has attended several training, Programmes, Conferences and seminars on Insurance, marketing, Customer relationship management and capacity development.
Senior Manager (Energy and Special Risk)
Mr Ifeanyi graduated from Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu, Lagos State with a Higher National Diploma in Insurance in 1995. He qualified as an Associate (ACIIN) member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria in 2014.
Ifeanyi has a versed experience in Energy Risks and Reinsurance. He started his Insurance career in Law Union and Rock Insurance Plc in 1998 as underwriting officer and later joined the Special Risks/Reinsurance unit of the company.
Today, Ifeanyi is a Senior Manager at Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is responsible for building and maintaining ongoing relationships with clients in the oil sector, Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers, Gathering information from clients, assessing their insurance needs and risk profile, Building and maintaining business relationships with clients.
He is also responsible for discussing and assessing clients’ current and future insurance needs and facultative reinsurance placement for ceding companies.
Manager – Head of Claims
Olasebikan Lekan Toaridi graduated from Lagos State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance in 2008. He qualified as an Associate (ACIIN) member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria in 2009.
He started his career with Royal Exchange Assurance Plc in 2010 where he worked in various departments which include Underwriting and Claims. He was able to acquire a lot of experience in different aspect of insurance.
Today, Olasebikan Lekan Toaridi is the Head of Claims for Client Services at Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is responsible for ensuring that all claims are promptly documented and reporting claim progress. Other duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to preparing reports, presenting presentations as well as reviewing prospective clients’ Insurance portfolio.
Deputy Manager (Client Services)
Olarinde Sola graduated from Lagos State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance in 2008. He qualified as an Associate (ACIIN) member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria in 2009.
He started her career with Sovereign Trust Insurance in 2007 where he worked in various departments which include Underwriting and Claims. He was able to acquire a lot of experience in different aspect of insurance. He joined Regency Alliance in 2011.
Today, Olarinde Sola is in Claims department at Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is responsible for ensuring that all claims are promptly documented and reporting claim progress. Other duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to preparing reports, presenting presentations as well as reviewing prospective clients’ Insurance portfolio
Head (Reinsurance)
Udoh Ime is a Graduate of Insurance from University of Lagos and she qualified as Associate (ACIIN) member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria in 2015.
She is a highly accomplished Reinsurance Underwriter, Claims Administrator with successful track record of developing and administering effective organizational policies and procedures in diverse environments.
Today, Udoh Ime is in Reinsurance department at Risk Analyst Insurance Brokers Ltd. Other duties and responsibilities include but not limited to preparing reports, presenting presentations as well as reviewing prospective clients’ Insurance portfolio.
